- Sha'ab Samadai (Dolphin House): 11 km from Marsa Alam; 15 min by speedboat, 60 min by day boat. Sha'ab Samadai, known as Dolphin House, is a horseshoe-shaped reef about 11 km south-east of Marsa Alam. Its sheltered lagoon, 6 to 7 m deep, is the daytime resting place of a pod of around 60 spinner dolphins. It is a protected area with zoned access: a no-entry rest zone for the dolphins, a guided snorkeling zone and a diving and mooring zone.
